Delves, Thorne, South Yorkshire

The Delves is a mixed coarse fishery consisting of two small ponds in the town of Thorne, South Yorkshire. Popular with match, pleasure and specimen anglers, the venue caters for all tastes on a day ticket or year book. You will need to purchase two books or tickets to fish with two rods.

The Island Pond features a large island with overhanging trees and reds. Catering for both match and pleasure anglers, small carp, F1’s and other small fish are the target.

The Long Pond, packed with summer lillies, produces carp and pike to over 20lb as well as mixed bags to pleasure anglers. It is a popular winter carp venue. Pike fishing with deadbaits is permitted from 1st October-28th February. All specimen anglers must use appropriate tackle including 15lb nylon and a 42 inch net.
